Andreas Naeve, born and raised in beautiful Schleswig-Holstein, Germany’s northernmost federal state, describes himself as a dreamer who has always wanted to make music. He has had countless ideas for song lyrics in his head since childhood, but for a long time he lacked the means and opportunities to realise them creatively. But thanks to modern technology, he was finally able to realise this dream.
Today, Andreas releases his music under the stage name Anadis and runs his own label Anadis Music. His journey into the world of music has taken time – 50 years to be precise – but now he is ready to take his lyrics and melodies out into the world. However, he deliberately stays in the background: the music takes centre stage, not himself.
Andreas’ musical influences are wide-ranging. The Swedish pop legend ABBA, the iconic productions of Stock Aitken Waterman and the Eurovision sound of the 90s are particularly influential for him. But his creativity is multifaceted, which means that he can sometimes come up with a rock song.
Andreas is now at the beginning of an exciting journey as a lyricist and producer. He doesn’t know where this journey will take him, but he is driven by curiosity and anticipation. With his alias Anadis he wants to touch people with his melodies and lyrics without being in the limelight himself.
