The head of music for londonfm.digital said that he loved the new single ‘Kennedy’ from ‘Die Hard Habits‘ with its powerful alternative production, chugging grungy guitars and distinctive melodic vocals, this walks all over Kings of Leon. The single is now on the daily playlist and will be played throughout the day and night + as a special ‘rock powerplay’ at approx 9:15 PM UK time every night for a month or more.
Die Hard Habits is a Post-Punk/Alternative Rock band from Austin, Texas. First formed in 2011 (under the name Uncle Momma Kitty) the band played local Austin-area venues including a featured performance at the 2020 Llano Earth Arts Festival.
The Covid-19 shutdown and departure of a few members caused the band to retool their sound and rebrand under the name Die Hard Habits.
In 2022, Die Hard Habits rose from the ashes with a chip on their shoulders and a grittier, more unapologetic sound. Price, Brock and Gonzalez enlisted bassist Paula Laubach, and drummer Steve Muccini and to drive their sound headfirst into the Austin music scene.
