“It’s a song to share how we all sometimes feel,” says Charlie. “That quiet ache when sadness and loneliness take over your every thought, and it feels like you’re living without any hope. I wanted to put that into words — not for sympathy, but for solidarity.”
Following his warmly received single When Are You Coming Home?, and the folk-rock optimism that defined his earlier albums Digital Dust Side A and B, this new track signals a shift toward a starker, more reflective sound.
