The head of music at londonfm.digital said he loved the rocking new single from ‘Mr. Slade’ which is a cover of the Blondie classic ‘Call Me’. The single is energetic, warm and melodic with an alternative rock edge that blasts out of the speakers with rock pop precision retaining the 80’s mood but sounding bang up to date with powerful vocals. The single is now on the playlist and will be played 2-3 times a day in general rotation + as a nightly powerplay at approx 10:15 UK time for a month or more.

As a whole generally evolves and finds its way forward through unexpected collisions, left-field genre-splicing and half-planned creative fusions. Some are the obvious merging of music which has long been easy travelling companions, other times opposites attract, meld, battle, blend and give creative birth and what emerges from the sonic wreckage is a totally new and unexpected form.Caustic 80’s metal meets dance-pop.
